Email from me to enom sales rep who forwarded to the .tv tld manager
Hi Raymond,
Please see the TLD Manager’s response to your questions below:
How will the premium domains work now?
**Your existing Premium domains will continue to function as they do today. All nameserver data, host records, etc will be reset in your enom account to match what they were in your www.tv account.
Same pricing ? different pricing ? different business model ?
***Pricing will remain the same on your renewals. We will not be selling new premium .TV domains until Q1 2007, but will be allowing existing .TV premium names to be renewed (of course). Stay alert for exciting new partnerships and features to make the most out of your .TV domains (Q1 2007)
Verisign would charge a transfer fee for what is a free push at ENOM will this be free now?
***There will be no transfer fee or addtional years added on for .TV domains.
Verisign had a min two year reg fee will this just be one?
***We are not selling premium .TV domains yet and will consider all options for minimum year purchases when they become available.
How will you grandfather previous premium regs that have expiry 1 2 10 years out?
***The expiration dates will not change - whatever you have already paid for will count towards your new domains.
***Some other important notes about your renewals:
your login will change but your password will remain the same. after you login the first time, you can change your login to whatever you wish. Please do this soon after Tuesday's migration so you can set new credit card info in your account (we are not bringing over any credit card info)
Some renewals that we've deemed too expensive to go through the normal process will require the assistance of an eNom sales person. Please make sure your email address is up to date so you can receive instructions.
Thanks!
