i won a godaddy auction, i have paid for the auction, but the domain it not yet in my account, is there something wrong, pls suggest what i should do, it was a listed auction, not an expiring auction
ok. i have to wait for 7 days. Thanks guys
It is a listed auction, not an expiring auctionAlso, be aware that if the original owner renews the domain over the next 7 days, then you will not get the domain, but will receive a refund instead.

Does not anyone today actually read the rules on a site having domain auctions?
It sucks GoDaddy holding $$$$-$$$$$ after an owner renews, if it's on credit, I'm charged interest on that money. Also, be aware that if the original owner renews the domain over the next 7 days, then you will not get the domain, but will receive a refund instead.
Nope. Easier to ask on NamePros than read legal mumbojumbo that you'd need a lawyer explain to you. By asking here, you have a lot of educated people who can answer, because they made a post requesting before. Vicious cycle.Does not anyone today actually read the rules on a site having domain auctions?
A GD rep insisted that payments must be paid immediately or my account would be suspended for fraud. I don't think employee's read their own TOS. So, 7 days and notification of refund, which is another 7 days. 14 they are almost always constantly holding at least above mid $$$; which runs through my billing cycle, and I pay interest on a name I don't own while my money is in their account collecting interest. If you say so.
And depends on when you charged to your CC and when the refund comes in.
GoDaddy will do whatever they have to do to ensure they get their money before anything happens. Even trusted members are held to the highest standards. I suppose this is fair, as they help you save $13 per registration.Whenever I have won domains at GD auctions, I have received the domains on the 5th day after making the payment. But I have read that depending on the payment method used, Godaddy holds the payment for 5 - 10 days for authentication before sending the domain to your account.
Yes, if you win the auction. You pay what it ends at plus the full renewal fee to add a year to the expiration date. I have never had a coupon that worked for an auction renewal (even when GoDaddy had renewal coupons).About this, you pay renewal fee right when you win the auction, or am I missing something?
