Hello Domainers,

I recently won a domain in GoDaddy Auction on 6th July. I got the winning bid email notification and I processed the payment successfully. I got the GoDaddy generated receipt as well.

Today when I was checking my Auction account the domain which I won is in the "Didn't Win" section. When I click the domain auction page it says "Auction Cancelled"

I am waiting for the GoDaddy Auctions voice Support to open up today. I want your expert advice in this regard. Is it a glitch in their system or I didn't get the domain.?

Inventory Type: Expired Auctions
Delivery Time: Take Ownership in 9 Days

Probably got renewed and you will get a refund.

You will get the refund in this case. The same happens in GoDaddy Closeouts sometimes.

You are right. I got the refund initiated today morning. The worst part is I was awake till 3 AM to bid the domain and was so happy when I won the domain. (new domainer, :))

There is no compensate for the amount of stress I went through when I came to know its not mine. Thats really bad. GoDaddy has to do something about this sometime where the partner registrar cannot cancel the auction if their registrant is renewing the domain at the edge of its fall.
Anyway I will get over it. 🙁

Thanks to Paul Nicks who responded me back to my queries promptly about the issue.

Inspite of wasting time calling GoDaddy support several times I should have knocked our forum in the first place. Thanks guys for your inputs.
