I had a domain name backordered at snapnames, namejet, and pool. The name dropped today, and I checked whois to see that it is now registered at dotdomainsale.com, and expires Feb of next year. What does this mean? Does this mean that all three domain catching services failed to catch the domain for me?

For example if the domain with Name.com you have to backorder thought their system. Because they give the first priority to their customers. If you made the backorder through from another company instead of the domain registrar. You will probably not capture the domain. If there is a backorders from the current registrar they will try to capture first not the other companies.
