Has anyone ever sold a domain during a fad?
What were your expectations?
Did you get what you wanted?
Did you hold too long and lose out?

I saw Clearthelist trending so I bought
Clearthelist.com
Clearing the lists.com

10 days ago - it already has 500 visits and it’s growing. The movement on twitter is getting larger.

I had a broker from Godaddy call last night and offer $300 - I declined

I had a direct contact offer $300 and I declined- she owns a school related business that just raised 2 million in seed

The problem is this is a charity movement for teachers so not much money
I reached out to the person who started this and their partner site - crickets

What did you do and any advice

Domains remain - if not sold during the "shelf-life" of the fad.
So you need to calculate the risk.

I think you did the right thing uglydork, simply redirecting the domain to an offer page and waiting.
I didn't sell or register any fad domain, not fast enough
