GoDaddy problem. I won the auction, but other bidder took my domain

I won the auction for Walletopia.com, 0 seconds left, there was a message You won the auction. There were no other bidders in the auction and 30 seconds after I won the auction i closed the window, there was no more activity there.
I started to browse how to pay for the domain and received email You have been outbid by another bidder,
and lost the domain, because the auction was ended when I checked it again. Is this some kind of lag?
But why is this message You won the auction, if I'm not the real winner?
Is this some kind of bug?



There was 1 bidder that took my domain, and the auction was closed. Now I see that therea are 4 bidders.. and the auction is closed.
They appeared 5 minutes ago in the statistics.

It's not normal to see a message You won the auction... , because when you see it you leave the page.
I was there for 30-60 seconds after the end of aucton, but nothing happened... the statistics with all 4 bidders appeared 15 minutes after the end. I was the only bidder all the time...
This is some kind of bug...

I placed my bid 5:30 min, before the end. That was my only bid, and after 0 seconds left... there was a message You won the auction
I'm very angry!

Time is relative.... if I say now it means now regardless of what time zone I am in.

Auction closes it should close in all time zones at the same second.

I mean common, it's not like we're living in the nineties or something

This has been a big problem lately. Happened to me twice in the last month. Godaddy will blame your connection speed.

FYI, I’m in the States, not Asia or Europe. Their platform is to blame but they won’t fix it and could care less.

I told same thing to GoDaddy but they said its timestamp problem as they operate in Arizona and I stay in India.

If they didn’t send you a confirmation email then you lost. It’s unfortunate but that’s their system.

Now I see these statistics... they appeared 15 minutes after the end.

My bid is 10:58 /5:30 minutes before the end/. But there are no 'seconds' in the statistics, only minutes.

better way wait for 10 to 20 minutes after getting Win message on GoDaddy platform.
Check your mail - If got winning mail then its fine .. if not then you get outbid mail. Bid again if you really want name.

I wonder, if someone could finally take a case like this to the court, claiming "You won the auction" is the auction winning confirmation so that GD must grant the domain to them.

if you play last seconds bid you better prepare to do much more higher proxy bid, adding minimum $5 to your bid wouldnt help at all. If you add much more as proxy bid, it will prevent your competitor outbid your bid, no guarante... because if your competitor doing the same thing as i explained then the one who win is still the most highest bid
