Is there a change in how expired auctions work ?

Starting bid would be $25. And if no one bids it used to go to $50 closeout.

When do they go to $1 auction?

Doesn't make any odds I'm guessing? Think I've only ever had 1 domain for the starting bid in the last 5 years or so .

Really you have to wait for closeouts and pay 50 bucks otherwise your 1 dollar bid activates API bidding and attracts attention so 1 dollar or 25 still equals 50 lol.

I'd rather have a lower starting closeout price... ahhhh the good old bad old days.

In all seriousness though it would be interesting to know how many names sell for between 1 and 25 dollars. There must be some psychology behind it that attracts more bids and makes more money in the long run cos @GoDaddy sure as shit aren't trying to save us money.
