SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- GoDaddy.com(R), the world's
No. 1 registrar both in terms of new domain names and domains under
management, today announced FREE upgrades to its value- and feature-packed hosting plans.

Disk space, bandwidth, email accounts and MySQL databases have all
increased, in some cases by as much as 900%. This aggressive move comes as GoDaddy(R) also drops domain registration prices to the special sale price of $6.95/year.

"Customers won't find a better hosting price, product or service on the
Internet, period," says Go Daddy President and Founder Bob Parsons. "We
continue to design, implement and staff our hosting systems with two objectives in mind: to make hosting affordable and to keep each customer's
site live, without any downtime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."

The largest shared hosting provider in North America (according to
Netcraft(R)), Go Daddy is offering three upgraded plans, with prices starting
at just $3.95/month.

I don't know but you must admit that the hosting accounts are very attractive. Also, you'll never have to worry about your host running on you since they have a reputation to maintain. :)

It depends on how big a site you have, traffic and database issues. If bandwidth isnt a bottleneck, performance might very well become one. Imagine a busy forum, with 1000s of SQL queries every minute. I dont know whether a $3.95 hosting can be dependable in such cases.... but one never knows...

$4/mo for 250gb of bandwidth. Geesh, a lot of hosts would have trouble beating that.

Almost seems like that might be a little overselling.
