GoDaddy.com donates $500,000 to Hope for Haiti and its disaster relief efforts.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Jan. 13, 2010) – Go Daddy is donating a half-a-million dollars to help victims of yesterday’s earthquake in Haiti. Go Daddy’s philanthropic CEO and Founder Bob Parsons initiated the move immediately after learning about the high magnitude earthquake in Haiti.

“The moment we saw the news, we knew we had to help,” Parsons said. “This devastating earthquake killed thousands and thousands of people and conditions for survivors are deplorable. Those of us not affected by this disaster need to step up – we at Go Daddy feel it’s our duty to lead the way.”

You know thats great it really is but Bob Parson is such a douchebag one good deed doesn't really change my opinion about him. I mean honestly all he does is feature attractive women in every advertisement he does which is annoying.

Yea bob parson still a bit stuck up and godaddy.com donating the money to haiti is probably just a stunt to get people using godaddy, but I guess its good that haiti get some relief and there are many other big website donating to haiti youtube, google, zynga .....etc
I like it how websites can come together and help relieve other countries with the millions they've made

I think it is a good thing because go daddy got the publicity, and people suffering from earth quake got the money.
