GoDaddy and Repossessed Domains... I don't understand!

Hello,

can someone help solve this puzzle?

I have seen a hand full of names being tagged "repossessed domains" by Godaddy.

What does this mean, why and is it possible to own/claim the domain names?

Where do you see the tag "repossessed domains"?

I've seen those the 'valued price' auctions. I assumed repossessed = owners violated policies in one way or another, accounts terminated, etc.

So, how can one get such name or don't they release the name to another buyer/user?

shows up in whois under org. name

OK. I've never seen that. Then if it isn't on GoDaddy Auctions, I'd contact support and ask them if it is for sale.
