It's about time for numerics .info to explode very very soon. I personally think it's the sleeper horse in all of this and that it will rival .net and .com before it's over. A lot of great patterns in 5n .info just sitting there like a sitting duck.

Get ready for a massive run on .info, in my opinion. Possibly the biggest yet.

Best of luck to all!

Ya they're hitting it hard right now. I went to reg 1238888.info yesterday and it was registered by China yesterday. Barely beat me to it!

There are a lot of good 6n avail starting with quads, like 9999**, 6666**. And things like 688868, etc...

I've been slowly accumulating 6n .info ultras. They should be fairly good as long as they have ultra premium patterns.

I believe the whole numeric market will shift to 5n - 6n ultra premiums. Even 6n .com may need to be a premium pattern to be worth anything. Buyers seem to want great patterns of 6n or less.

This is a REPOST I did from another thread. It was for all the Naysayers who said China didn't like .info and had no clue -

REPOST ***

In Asia and all around the world they are putting up more numeric .info sites than any other extension, which is why I've been slowly accumulating them.

This was a random search I did awhile ago on numeric .info. Note that the .com and the other extensions are NOT in use for these, but the .info is. The demand for premium .info numerics may very well rival .com before it's over.

Like I said, those were random checks done in 5 minutes. The issues you raise are not too valid. The sites are up, and maybe poor quality, but they are in use, right? The "no comment" by the ones being sold out of China for $888.00 is also very telling about the market value for them in China. Not sure why you dismiss that. Not sure why you also dismiss parked sites as they're used to generate revenue. It's also noteworthy that hardly no .coms are in use at the moment.

Earlier people were saying the Chinese didn't like .info, when clearly that was not the case. You should have listened early on, chief.

If I wanted to spend an hour I could probably find a 100 good sites up, but each person should do their own research, which clearly isn't being done.

..my point exactly

out of 11 "sites" you quoted in order to support your idea that Chinese like/use .info 0.00 are real working Chinese sites.
that tells a lot about the quality of your research

•••
Well God forbid you do your own research. At least .info domains are being purchased by the Chinese, and their are sites in fact up and being used, but perhaps not to your standards. Like I said, I could probably find some top notch sites to please you, but there is obviously no reason to investigate this any further as it's quite apparent they are using .info, and even more so than .com, from what I can see.

I also mentioned how I went to purchase 1238888.info a couple of days ago and I was barely beaten out by a guy in China. Get It? On a couple of those domains they have an asking price of $888.00 from China. So feel free to justify that one ...

9393.info is up to $170.00 with 4 days left. Could get over $500, but we'll see. Seems to be picking up steam. I've said this before, but I really think it's heading in the direction of pattern over extension in "some" cases, or those cases excluding .com at least. This sale could really put .info on the map.

I'll also add in terms of the potential explosive future with numeric .info, here are some current comparisons at auction:

9393.info - Current Bid $170 - 4 days left

666016.com - Current Bid $37.00 3 days left
33166.net - Current Bid $165.00 1 day left
9922.co - Current Bid $130.00 3 days let
2661.org - Current Bid $12.00 4 days

(No big surprise that .org would be a complete dead dog like .biz, and .co is overbid at $130 in my opinion)

Keep in mind that those 4 all have pretty good patterns, and .info is about to kick the shit out of them. Mark my words, .info will easily over take .co (looks to already be the case and may double it), and I believe it will soon rival .net going head to head and pattern for pattern. Will be very soon and will potentially overtake it.

.info is a perfect storm at the moment as it's also only 25% the cost to register it compared to the others, for the time being. Huge oversight for people to have missed that one. Low cost with the best future. Just like betting on the sleeper horse at the race track when you saw something that nobody else did when going over the stats, and it kicks the crap out of them all. Or like picking a stock just before it runs. I've done both more than once. All I can say is watch and learn.

.info is a perfect storm at the moment

...thats not even funny anymore

go figure how many recent .info sales reported on 4.cn vs .biz, .tv, .cm(!) not even touching .net, .cc, .cn etc

.info had 2.5 times less regs than .biz as of Aug-2015 at HiChina - biggest China registrar (around 4,500 only vs 10,000 .biz vs 394,000 .nets vs 58,000 .orgs)

chaomi does not even track it..

its not popular in China - simple as that... will always be cheaper/less valuable than .com, .net, .org, .cc, .biz, .cn, .com.cn in China

happy investing..

That may "have been" true. Last August I would have said the same thing. I just posted the current bids at auction above. China won't be selling them for quite awhile. Myself and a few people here own them all and they were shut out.

39777.org is at $12.00 at auction with 2 days left. Yep, the Chinese really love that .org.

017.biz the guy selling it has a starting bid at $300, and nothing. No bids. Ya... Chinese love those. And that's an NNN .biz. Any bets that 9393.info an NNNN .info will sell for more than that NNN.biz?

At Godaddy i've been doing that daily at this point. Once the funds are received, if they don't respond to your email request for the customer # and email, I simply call Godaddy and they will allow you to transfer the domain into their holding account and they will then place it in the buyers account for you. I just did this 5 straight times. If the buyer messes with the process they also get their account suspended. Further, if they don't make the purchase and provide funding, Godaddy will make the purchase for them using their account.

Not to change the subject, but also tracking a couple 7n .com sales.

1788817.com - current bid $12 - 1 day left
5558889.com - current bid $12 - 3 days left

Awhile ago those were considered great patterns, but the field is really narrowing at 6n and above. In those patterns, you may no longer want to go above having more than two different digits in a pattern. For example, 5558889 may now need to be 5558888, and 1788817 may need to be 7788888 or 1188888. The market, in my opinion, is shifting to ultra premium patterns. So a random 4n or 5n (excluding .com) may ultimately be worth the fraction of an ultra premium 6n soon. And you need a good string of 8's.

I have noticed the same trend. AB patterns, no more ABC.

what are the completed sales looking like lately for these 4n,5n,6n 'magic number' .infos?

Yes, I believe numeric .info's are heating up.
I own 100.info and have had a "for sale" message at the address, and I have received increased interest from buyers in the last few months.

The number "100" is one of the most popular numbers around the world.

According to Namebio.com in 2014:
100.com sold for $950,000 USD
100.org sold for $26,000 USD

If anybody here is interested in buying 100.info, feel free to send offers to the email on the page. I believe it is worth in the 5 figures.

Thanks and Merry Christmas :)

And about Letter .info?? 4 or 5?

It's funny that folks compare auctions that have days left. That means absolutely nothing as most bidders wait. Lets talk final sales prices.
