I think Dotster will charge a transfer fee (read the fine print) they don't say what that fee is and I can't get a reply to my inquiry.

Also, can you create accounts on each registrar and get 25 free .info's at each? Seems pretty crazy!

From SEDO Newsletter, I got the impression that Afilias offering this promo to several registrar. Some registrar pass this promo directly to their customer, other registrar offer it for very low price, and some other required you to register other domain to get this promo.

So I think it's OK to get 25 .info from each registrar.

If I'm not mistaken, PlanetDomain requires you to buy other extension to get .info for free.

I cannot check it now, since I cannot access their web site.
