Dotster "CAnnot change Registrant InFO"

As everybody knows, Dotster and a few other companies are allowing free .info domain name registration. But i have a question. What does this mean:

"Registrant information for any account registering free .info domains may not be modified until January 1st, 2005. "

I am under the impression that it means that the person who registers the name, cannot change ownership of the name, and must keep the account in his/her name. If thats so, it defeats the whole purpose......

They told you this upfront. Basically, you can't move it until after that date. That's the way it is, like it or not.
