Why were these names that I regged in the last two days still available??

These are premium names in English, but isn't .TV universal?? Won't the video content wave hit Europe at the same time as the UK, USA??

Of course, if anyone can tell me if these sites were actually a good idea to reg and if they have value......much appreciated aswell!!

My mother language is French and I had a view on Boxe.TV but finally didn't regged it...

I think it is a good catch but for the long term, if we can talk of short term for an american interest in .tv names.

Kickboxing is cool

Given that it is universally called that.

But don't french people have an interest in kickboxing...?? From my youth I seem to recall that alot of the top kickboxers in the world were from France...

Also Dreamweaver, is there no interest in boxing itself in France - the reason I personally chose boxe.tv - there were other names out there, not just in frech, is because of the four characters, boxe.tv.

I think this short name has great branding potential....

Argos also seems to think that France is some way behind the UK/USA....why is that??

Of course do french people have interest in kickboxing, but it seems very rare that french people type in naturally kickboxing + .tv or boxe + .tv

The .tv extension is not well known/used in France, in opposition to Germany where a lot of satellite channels use it...

Another point is that domaining is not very well accepted in France, but that is another debate :hehe:

Argos is absolutely right.

I think the latin peoples (link) in general are some way behind the anglo-saxons in term of domaining (or adopting new technologies). It is a question of mentality.

I'm a latin domainer :)
