.ECO announced by Al Gore

the DotEcoTLD announced in Mexico that they are applying for the .eco extension and they will def get it with Al Gores political backing and Obama's new policies on Green energy etc. Does anyone know when this will be available to the public to buy or exactly how they will be releasing it. I seriously think this will be bigger than .net and below.

This would be a gTLD, not a ccTLD, so have moved the thread here.

However, most of these would qualify for g = garbage rather than global, imho :D
