Here we have an eco blogger with 15000+ RSS readers and 100,000 monthly visits saying that .eco isn't necessary. I'm actually quite surprised by how many non-domainers have seen this new domain extension landrush for what it really is -- a moneygrab.
The eco blogger's conclusion: "In all probability. ICANN will either just reject the .eco TLD, or it will become just one more in a slew of more-specific but less-useful options for domain purchasers. Of course, that doesn't mean I won't be out there trying to get ecogeek.eco at the first opportunity."
Classic. And yes, ICANN will use people like here who's clearly doing it to protect her brand as examples of why we need these new extensions -- because the people demand it
