Ecogeek.org says no need for .eco

Here we have an eco blog with 15000+ RSS readers and 100,000+ monthly visits saying that .eco isn't necessary. I'm actually quite surprised by how many non-domainers have seen these new domain extensions for what they really are -- a moneygrab.

The eco blogger's conclusion: "In all probability. ICANN will either just reject the .eco TLD, or it will become just one more in a slew of more-specific but less-useful options for domain purchasers. Of course, that doesn't mean I won't be out there trying to get ecogeek.eco at the first opportunity."

Classic. And yes, ICANN will use people like this who are clearly registering their domains to protect their brands as examples of why we need these new extensions -- because the people want them

Its all about money grab.If it ever takes off 1milllion domains will be regged in a month.What will be next .fuel? .gas? .home? .car? .insurance??

All these new extensions do is rob the domainer.

Stick with .com
