Hi all!

We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

We’d like to kick things off with an extension of our $7.99 .COM transfer sale, the code “COMTRANS4” has been extended until 23:59 PST on May 31, and there’s no limit on how many domains you can transfer using the code. Every month we have great prices on a wide selection of domains, and you can find a full list of our sales here:

https://www.dynadot.com/sales.html

We’re also excited to share that our CEO, Todd Han, will be hosting an AMA (Ask Me Anything) right here on Namepros in the near future, with more information on a date and time coming soon.

Dynadot is an ICANN accredited domain name registrar and web host headquartered in San Mateo, California. Ah, seems to be missing a "There is" after 'as' and before 'less'. I'll get that fixed.

So it's letting you know that you have auto-pay with your account balance and we'll use that, but if there's not sufficient balance (or if you're using a card that gets declined), that we'll cancel the order if payment isn't received in time. You should have received a second email stating if the payment was received or declined right after.
Yep, I received the second email saying payment was received. Even with the extra wording it sounds sloppy to me "We recommend paying soon as there is less than 72 hours to pay for the order, so please pay soon." At least leave the "so please pay soon" bit off at the end as it's redundant. Well, you can do as you wish of course, but that's my humble opinion.

I thought the same thing lol. I sent the revised message to my team and they changed it to that last evening! Now should say:

We recommend paying soon as there is less than 72 hours to pay for the order. If payment isn’t received in time, our system will automatically cancel your user auction order.

@Dynadot on the for sale lander pages, there is an option to index for search results... however, weeks/months after using your landers like this, they are not getting indexed by google search. You can easy test by google search site:mydomainforsale.com and nothing shows for many of them that are set as for sale landers. The AI generator for description sales page is really nice. You should have another similar AI gen or manual setting for meta title and meta description... this is kind of a big deal on seo and optimizing indexed search for click thrus. And finally, is there a way we can set dynadot for sale landers to be the actual domain showing in the landing page/browser url instead of the domain redirecting to https://www.dynadot.com/forsale/domainforsale.com?

Hmm it doesn't sound like the team has heard of any indexing complaints yet, I'll have the seo team investigate.

It sounds like the redirect for landers is doable! I'll let you know if we're able to get that rolling.

I have one .ICU domain appraised at more than $ 83K.
How accurate is that? Domain is listed in Dyna auctions

If it's an automated appraisal, it's not at all accurate. End of story.
I also suggest you take this into account. These are the 5 most expensive .icu sales reported to namebio:
DomainPriceDateVenue
x.icu2,995 USD2023-11-22Sedo
d.icu1,025 USD2025-03-11Dynadot
smartwatchsync.icu707 USD2023-02-13Sav.com
c.icu696 USD2025-03-11Dynadot
a.icu696 USD2025-03-11Dynadot

3 of those sales were this month, so that is very current. Granted, they're probably wholesale transactions, and the 'appraisal' you have would probably be a retail number, but I'd say it would have to be an absolutely spectacular domain to have any chance of you getting high 5 figures, and even then I can't see it happening.

Thanks for your feedback. It's Dynadot automated appraisal. Estibot valued the domain at 1000$, quite a huge difference from 83K.

Estimated Value
$85326 (USD)
Domain Status:
UserAuction. Place Bid
Why is it worth the price?

Domain one word, 9 letters

(I just changed the domain name to mmmmmmm)
Sorry I can't post the screenshot on here

It most definitely isn't worth the price. Dynadot's appraisal tool is about 100,000 times too high on that. IMHO that domain is worthless.

In fact, I have read that Dynadot appraisals are high and inaccurate but it's not the domain that I posted. It might not be worth that price but it sure has some value.

.AI extension of the same domain was sold for more 200.000 $

Oh, OK. I see the domain you're looking at. Perhaps it has some value, but indeed this will be the very reason Dynadot has given it a high value (because of the high .ai sale). But the .ai extension is generally viewed as much more valuable than .icu. Not to mention the fact that this keyword has never been reported in any other domain sale over $3,000. Anyway, it's up to you what it's worth to you.

@Caleb Tweed

Hi Caleb,

I opened a ticket about it with Dynadot, but most of the time customer service at Dyna opt not to react on tickets until the second arrival of the Christ, so, duplicating here, hoping you can find out just a bit faster.

I am trying to set up Google Analytics on Aftermarket - Aftermarket Settings - For Sale Landing Page. Question: when instructing GA (the process you go thru before receiving the tracking ID), what should I tell it as a ''website'' to analyze? Any of my landers with Dynadot? And if so - the domain name itself of Dynadot's redirect?

Thank you.

@Caleb Tweed, is the showing of the minimum offer (under the area to enter a number) a permanent change?
