I thought there should be a thread where users can showcase there newly acquired .domains
Many interesting domains have already been registered. What .domains do you have?

I think you need to register a .domains domain at GoDaddy with privacy to find out if your privacy is working or not. Or ask someone who has done this at GoDaddy. GoDaddy's prices are too steep for me.

It is like watching an ant farm except with domains instead of ants. The worrying thing is that many of the new gTLDs in landrush/general availability have the dynamics of small ccTLDs (hundreds of new domains a day) rather than large TLDs.

ICANN caused a massive problem for EU registrars with its data retention rules (registrant data being required to be maintained for longer than EU regulations permit) and this might be causing many new gTLDs to be mainly North American affairs. However .domains is very much a niche TLD even for new gTLDs.

I think it worked out at a couple of hundred dollars with the current exchange rates.. I am very happy with it and have an idea for development.

Like snowflakes, all domains are unique.

I dont care for the double dot in the logo. The new extensions are hard enough for regular people to understand.

Its a relatively low cost way to brand a one word. Goodluck with it.
