Closeout = After auction but before completely dropping from registrar and before going into redemption.


I *HIGHLY* suggest to post only after the domain is transferred *INTO* your account!

Feel free to disguise the domain like Slash // dot // com or any o|t|h|e|r w a y you want.
IMPORTANT: *If* someone does disguise their name, please respect them by quoting them directly, or copy/paste them directly.


Things to optionally include (or just simply post the domain name):

1. What you paid for the domain(s), or the price range, or no price info at all.
2. Any information, reasons or hard data (traffic, CPC, etc) that lead you to buy the domain(s).
3. Where (or who) you acquired the domain from.
4. How many other bidders there were.
5. Whether the domain was "expired" or not.
6. Whether the domain was at "closeout" or not.
7. The history of the domain.
8. What you see the domain being used for.
9. Who a potential buyer could be.
10. Anything else you want to share .. these are just possible ideas not "rules"

Good alliteration with great descriptive word on a really strong keyword. While it could be related to the OS (tm issues), Android most certainly also has a generic meaning in robotics .. and would wouldn't want an Android that's Awesome? lol .. With the robotics exploding, I like my chances with this one!

Fantastic marketing name for a bank looking to grab new customers. Banks make most of their money with the actual money .. as such more and more we are seeing banks willing to cut fees in order to attract new customers. I really like this one ..

Nice pronounceable pattern 5L! I also like the unnu combination for potential logos.

Not sure if it's just me .. but I get tons of Grammarly ads all over the internet .. which tells me money is being spent on language tools. This is a great marketing domain for exactly that!

This is a no-brainer with the huge number of price comparison sites covering just about every product in the world. Plus it also makes a good marketing name.

Solid name for a list type site. 2005 .com domain with 3k monthly exacts at $1.4 CPC. Nice all round name if you can get cheap (which I did .. lol)

AnsweringService // dot // net
Obviously a colossal search term on a big business. 2001 domain with 22k monthly exacts at $14 CPC = over $300 monthly search value. Well worth getting in .net IMO!

KalamazooTravel // dot // com
Kalamazoo is a US city with over 300k population. Plus it's a fun name so not necessarily pinned to only be used in Kalamazoo.

I usually HATE domains with "cleaver" misspells like replacing S with Z. However .. I do like this one because it works for a wannabee trendy hairdresser. I also got it because it reminded me of a Domain Sherpa episode last year!

Great name for a niche website about travelling with your dogs. How much did you pay for it?

As a general rule I don't like to post exact my acquisition prices in case a potential buyer finds this thread and undervalues the domain. My goal is to let domains that get too expensive go to the big bidders while I snipe up the ones that get through the cracks. Many of the ones I've listed here are even closeouts. That being said .. lol .. I don't mind specifying a bit for one every now and then ... for this one I actually paid a bit more than usual at auction (mid $xx) .. namely because I thought of maybe starting a pet travel blog and try to get some free stays with my little dog!

Yeah - the only problem with these kind of domains is that you get a lot of low ball / not that serious offers that waste a lot of your time.

...almost every day I have to waste time explaining why I will not give it up for the very generous $100.
This was won for ~ the same price as NORD // TRANS - that's why it came into mind and I'm mentioning it now.
