Anyone have thoughts/experience re: negotiations with city/county government organizations regarding the purchase of .org domain names?

Not .org but have thought about contacting in regards to other domains and extensions. Connect with employees from the government you want to sell to. They have procurement officers that deal with purchases. Sorry cant be of more help on the .org front.
