Do you guys pay a lot of attention to SEDO RANKING OR ...

on sedo , there's the ranking scheme that if you search a term and click on traffic, it'll post from most "traffic" to least... traffic being visits to site + to the sedo listing....

what do you guys think? do people buy domains based on that ranking or people buy domains because they particuliarly want a certain domain regardless of the ranking..

the reason i'm asking is that i do have some domains parked with sedo, and if i ever decide to park it somewhere else, example parked.com for some reason, then my domains wouldnt be in the "traffic ranking" list... do you guys believe that enchances or reduces the chances of a domain being sold?

Unlesss your site is recieving quite a bit of traffic, I dont think its that big of a deal. Most resellers understand this issue, that is not accurate due to people parking domains elsewhere or even developing sites.

I think you should park the domain where your going to best profit from it, I wouldnt worry about Sedo so much. I would like to point out that Ive recieved several offers via NameDrive from end-users who click on the for sale link. So dont be too worried that your going to lose a sale over it. Do whats in your best interest, park somewhere else!

I have purchased a lot of domains on Afternic, Sedo, etc and I (personally) never buy domains based on ranking. Like you mentioned, if someone wants a particular domain name for whatever industry, that probably won't matter a whole lot.

i read namedrive was pretty good from quite a few ppl from different threads prob will try them out...
