Same opinion for me @Alexej K , except that dan makes the transfer and the worldwide payment with escrow easier.

1 closed sale for 2 years per 1XX domains parked on Dan.

Sold 2nd yesterday.
Both were in MakeOffer mode.

p.s. From my own experience with BIN domains - sales are (very) rare, regardless of venue.
Very likely only Afternic/GoDaddy works for BINs.

true. it is cause it is hard to set the right bin.
this is why many bin sales leave money on table vs make offer

my only regret with all my makeoffer cause i never use bin.. is not to be on expnded afternic network... but.. with 1000 domains, its all also very hard to manage. either way, i like my makeoffer.

even if seting bin solves all unpaid buyer issues on many or most or all markets.. including dan. cause they gotta pay right away.

When EUR sales will be correctly counted on Dashboard and in Revenue report?
Very old issue and still not fixed.
For example, if USD is default currency: 585 EUR sale is shown as 585 USD sale, no any autoconversion like Sedo does.

DAN is an excellent platform and service however I am fairly certain almost all traffic DAN.com gets comes via domain landing pages. Traffic going direct to DAN in all likelihood is insignificant so if you do not use them for landing pages or send hits there via links to lease or buy, your sales would be rare, imo.

That is also true with Epik, Efty and several others. So if your domains get little if any direct navigation traffic your chance of a sale at those venues would be extremely low regardless of how good the platform is.

i see u fixed the folio issue? can u confirm?
if so, can u explain why your folio does not offer the most basic of all sort ways.. whcih is by name? can u add it plz?

also i do not want (nor my clients) EUR prices mention or sorting on folio.. but usd... how do I do this? ty.

The portfolio issue was resolved indeed. In addition, the EUR prices you are referring to is merely a symbol on the For Sale page which no buyer ever made a remark about. Since the placement of this symbol, no mention of confusion ever was made by one of the buyers on our platform.

Indeed. The page should be 404 instead... imo such a page does not serve any purpose, especially if there was a drop and subsequent ownership change for example. It also does not help endusers who might become new owners with or without DAN marketplace, their SEO results may be affected by this irrelevant content.

The pages exist to give transparency to interested parties. Without it, we still get quite some inquiries asking if the domain is available. Through this page, we tackle this problem and ensure the client is fully up to date without having to contact our support. The deleted pages themselves de-index over time.
