Godaddy sent me this in the middle of the night. Not sure if they reviewed something because of the Dan thing and/or something I did verifying the account yesterday on the Godaddy website. You might get one too if you do Dan/Godaddy PPC:

"Your domain parking account info is up to date.

Congrats, James. Your account info has been accepted. If anything about your info should change, you'll need to update it."

Thank you for reporting your findings regarding this.

In our email notifications we informed you of how the migration from our hybrid pages to GoDaddy CashParking involved a few different steps as opposed to a normal GoDaddy CashParking signup. Only our nameservers are required to be added and our Shopper ID added to your general settings in the Integrations section. Once that is done, the transfer to their premium service is free. It will however, require some time for those pages to propagate again. You can find the instructions in our blog as well

If you do encounter problems after 24 hours, please contact our support and they will make sure to assist you in getting all set up.

We can look into this for you, but as indicated, you would have to contact our support and mention the names involved as well as the time of converting to GoDaddy CashParking.

Looks like ssl certificate is not configured for the parked domains. That's probably why they are not getting loaded in the browsers if you have set them to enable https by default.

When I make an offer on a domain at DAN, I get an email that says "Thank you for placing an offer on the domain xxx". But it doesn't include the offer amount. I think it should state the amount so I have it on record.

That's a typical ad parking thing, and GD is to blame. It was like that for most of my Bodis parked domains too.

Most certainly not. We do offer chat and email support during the weekends. We also even offer limited transfer support during the weekends. However, we primarily offer it between 09:00 and 17:00 CEST.

I think it would be nice if the control panel showed "Total portfolio value". I know it is just a figure, and that I may only sell a small percentage of my names over time, but it would still be quite nice to look at and dream...

Value ? That would require an appraisal tool and we all know they cannot be trusted.

No, I mean the total listed value of a domain portfolio. Squadhelp has this in the control panel.

We do not see reduced sales as compared to the previous two years. We do see a decline this month as expected around the holiday seasons.

When did this feature begin?

Does Dan do any validation that it is genuinely from the company named?

Thank you for your message.

This feature has been live for quite a while already. Not all leads enter this value which might explain why you have not seen it so far. The company name field is identical to the name field where one can enter any value. We do not perform any additional checks on the validity of a company name.

I'm still learning the ropes here. There's lots of buzz around Dan. I've got my domains listed on Sedo and most of them listed on Afternic as well. What does Dan do better than (or differently than) Afternic and Sedo? Is it worth my time to also list my domains on Dan?

The best thing is to list them on every reputable sales platform, including Sedo, Afternic and Dan. Dan does have a lower sales commission. It is also more focused on optimising its offering than Sedo who comparatively hasn't changed much.

Also I find it very difficult to understand how many visits my domains have.
The way you have created the chart, you can't see exactly when and how many visits you have.

The installments feature is especially interesting to me. Sure would be great to get some MRR going. I hadn't even known that was an option before Dan. I got most of my domains listed on there now and I made them my landing page for one of my most promising domains.
