Thanks to their bidders without not just some verification, but even without registration.

On Sedo the same troubles are very rare.

LiveChat said that they are different from other marketplaces, and that's why they use this model...

Like i said this guy has 200,000 of 6 mil names on marketplace. I would say he is getting benefits but 4 sales with 200,000 name portfolio shows that quality over quantity is key.
Honesty ranks pretty high, this is dishonest. And burying our names even further.
How many people do this? List names not registered to them.
Maybe domain kauffer has few accounts if can get away with one.

The messages posted about this situation are completely based on assumptions. We have stated we are working on it and have acted accordingly. However, we will not remove any user from the platform blindly when someone requests us to do this. We have a multi-layer checking process to perform before any such action is taken.

We receive the same request to remove sellers from our platform, from buyers as well. They claim a domain is theirs for example and urge us to remove any users listing their domain for sale. For these instances, we also have checks to perform before action is taken.

To give you some insurances, the domains of the seller involved in this situation have been removed today. That being said, we will no longer attend to similar inquiries through Namepros. The initial chat you have had with Aleksandra would have sufficed to get this sorted.

Why did the transaction explorer stop working?

Came here to ask the same question. Although, I can't recall a time when it ever did.

I mentioned this to a rep in a chat (about a week ago); they indicated that the issue would be forwarded to the appropriate team. I'm guessing it's not an easy fix or it simply doesn't work anymore.

I see a very low rate of sales from landers since the beginning of November, whereas it's high from afternic.
As many of us dont sell a lot, it's not easy to see that.

It would be nice that dan give us weekly figures to know how is the trend...

I think DAN’s Dashboard should add a “Pending Sale” function similar Afternic’s

This allows sellers to know whether there are buyers who pay attention to or try to buy a domain which has been set a buy now price. Some buyers will hesitate in the last step of payment. Various reasons may be that the domain is about to expire,the buyers wants to see if the seller will renew it

If there is such a function, as a seller, those domains that originally gave up renewal can change to renew to increase the sale probability

And, I know, some buyers chose "Start a conversation" on dan for inquiring whether the domain that has been set a buy now price can be cheaper. If there is, which domain should let the seller know for the same reason (renew or unrenew the domain)

Has anyone else noticed that the “Recently Viewed Domains” header of the dashboard has changed to “Popular Domains”? It used to list 6 domains with recent viewing activity. Now it lists only 4 domains which appear to be the same top 4 domains of the portfolio page when sorted by monthly views. Therefore I don’t find this section useful anymore. I liked the old feature because it gave a different view of the data and often the names appearing in the section would coincide with a recent offer.

It would be more valuable to have a section showing which domains have had recent user interaction, for example if users have clicked on something, tested a minimum offer, or looked at lease payment options for different periods. What do you think?

When a so-called agreement is made the lander should read something like "PENDING SALE. CLICK HERE TO BE NOTIFIED IF THIS NAME BECOMES AVAILABLE OR SUBMIT AN OFFER FOR STANDBY'

Fake / Flake buyers are taking down the landing page for days sometimes weeks at a time while sellers are waiting on a payment that might not come. This should be corrected as to not block any action that can happen with real buyers while payment is pending. It's not sold until it's sold.

Does a domain have to be leased or rented already before it shows up in the search? None of my domains listed on or off of the DAN marketplace show up when I enter the name and click search.

Is there any way to track events like button clicks, checkout (billing information, order confirmation) on Dan through Google Analytics?

If anyone knows the solution please share it.

I tested one of my domains, analytics just tracked the landing page, not tracking the checkout process after the button click (BIN or Next).

@DAN.COM, if possible please add a detailed tracking feature. It helps a lot to understand our domains, buyers, and where it getting wrong. Also, helps promoters who are promoting domains through ads, social media, and their sites.

I would like to see a few more filters added to the Search filters like,

Price High - Low
Alphabetize A - Z
Alphabetize Z - A
Leads/Offers to show buyers how many offers a domain has had, much like the way Sedo does it.
