Domain investing is a wacky world I had a funny email come in from someone who I take it was not born in the 90’s and is disgruntled. It falls in line with some other reader emails over the past few months. “Congratulations you were alive in the 90’s how much brain power did it […]

Hindsight is always 20/20! I've lived though the 90's and looking back, there were many opportunities but the opportunities were not obvious at the time.

I had the opportunities to register domain names for free, but at the time, there were no websites, no HTML, no HTTP. We were connecting servers via dial-up modem and connecting FTP via IP addresses. At first, I was told to only get the names that matches my business (if I had one), then when Network Solutions started to charge $35 per domain per year. I didn't get into domaining until later, but I still made some money.

In the 90's I've also bought Apple and Amazon stocks. But I didn't keep them at the time because Apple was not doing well and Amazon was just an online books and CD seller. I didn't get into stocks until years later.

I wished I have gotten into Bitcoins 5 years ago. At the time a Bitcoin was already at $500, but it was mainly used on SilkRoads which was just shutdown by the feds.

There were many missed opportunities, but there will be plenty of opportunities to come.

Millenial and post millenial minds tend to work a bit differently. To them everyone over 30-35 is an out of touch boomer and they act more entitled to having the way paved for them than gens before. Someone wisely acquired something when they were a child or not yet born and it hurts their wittle feelings 🤣

they act more entitled

Hi

i agree

most take for granted, without any consideration for the spoons they feed from now

they took away the right to wipp a kids ass
but kept the right to bear arms..
..

that's probably why most newbies wanna be spoon fed, instead of feeding themselves.

imo...

There are still opportunities now

Eg

Digital asset pawnbrokers

Is great opportunity for those that understand the pawnbrokers concept and who are in aposition to lend against digital assets

Day trading

Is another great opportunity

Making videos on youtube
For ad dollars etc

Is another great opportunity

That's normal,
I don't know how many times I've been scolded by someone who bought a domain name
