If covering.com is priced for $9,999 BIN at Sedo and no buyers even on that price - I think, it looks like crash...

If you google a dictionary keyword and the top three results are from online dictionaries you can be sure no one is actively using that word and its not worth much... Like covering..

I saw coverings.com. Thats your basis for thinking covering is worth 10k?

Try googling covering...

It is a term like decor...

Another sample: motors-covering.fr

Its a term alright.. But not like decor.. You can find plenty of dictionary words in .com below 1K.. Why? Because they use obscure words, obsolete wording, term in singular when only plural is used. Etc. etc.

In this case semantics are paramount and in general you should only invest in dictionary .coms as a non native English speaker if you are 100% certain its the correct spelling, wording or bending of the word.

You like motors-covering.fr ? What would you say that is worth then?

EDIT
Yes I see you posted a picture from another NON native English speaker that tried his hand at making a website. So you like Motor-covering.fr? I got lots to sell you then.

Jurgen I don't mean this in a bad way whatsoever.
Coverings is a term used fairly commonly to refer to a product. So when you say that word people get an Idea of what it refers to. It is a case where the plural makes more sense than the singular.

Covering is a bit too abstract and unclear, but not in the sense that it's very brandable that can apply to many industries

Jurgen.. One uses the term in plural.. Not widely used, but they choose to BRAND their trade show under that. If you google "coverings" you almost exclusively get results from that trade show. Meaning its not widely used, but used none the less.

Another uses the term in singular form on a French website. Not used at all and all results point to dictionaries.

You do see the difference right?

at first sight I thought Covering.com is cheap at 10k

checked all the developed Covering dot cctld's/ngtld's (there are many) and I think no one will pay much.. there are more potential buyers but 10k is high

So try using it in a sentence..

Motors covering.. Give me a sentence where that will ever be correct English.

EDIT
The site you linked doesent even try..

"Motors Covering est une entreprise jeune et dynamique spécialisée dans les applications adhésives et la communication pour les particuliers et les professionnels."...

3 horrible examples that give more credence to the notion of covering.com being worth less than 10K.. Not more.. But hey the more Germans buying English keywords the better.. One born every minute..

Well you are obviously not a native English speaker. Or we would not be having this discussion. Again the examples you provided are for some reason all from non native speakers.. Should tell you enough.
