No one seems to care about any other names except CHIPS?

I am not a CHIPS person as I cannot predict the trend of chips in the future so I stick with what I know well for the moment (So I can sleep at night!!!)

Just sold an LLL .us yesterday on Afternic for $1,000 after listing here and no one wants to offer even $50 but I can sleep at night with my non chips.

Beside with chips crazy pricing it would take a lot of money to invest so I stay out for now.

Yup, as well as those who fabricate their Chip holdings which they hope will give credibilty to their utterances that they will be dumping these domains.

The truth is, either one has them or one does not. If one doesn't have them, talking about dumping domains which one doesn't have will not result in others that have them to sell them off. I don't even know why these elborate stories are being created in this thread as well as other threads with hopes of doing what? To affect the price because they missed the train/don't want to participate? Price is determined by the market-not by working oneself up of what one doesn't have.

Most of us who have 4L.com chips or non-chips have had these for years and years-I can't see how the concerns of those who don't have these domains should affect the strategy of whoever else has them. So now we must all of a sudden sell them off because someone else wants to tell us what price we should be happy with? haha- this is crazy.

This "bubble" story is repeated over and over again, and the pushers of these stories are only upsetting themselves for no good reason. I'm concerned that they will end up getting a heart-attack from the strain they are placing on themselves. :D

Exactly right. They might not accept but it's in their subconscious mind that everyone is investing and earning with Chips but they are just watching the show without being part of it.

Chip or non-chip they can be treated like stocks as it's domainers trading majority of these among each other... This is exactly what the Chinese have been doing with pump and dumps...

You need to be on the water to ride the wave and always great news when I read domainers making money from sales...

Networking ,timing and reputation will go a long way.... IMO

All I know are that the Chips are selling above the rooftop far beyond the reg fee. If you have them, sell when you are willing, provided you pay reg fee to buy them. There is nothing to be boardered about. However if you buy them high, care needs to be taking and it is better to sell as soon as you have a little profit.

But I envisaged the trend is not likely to come down soon, because Chinese are really trading it as stocks and not just as domain name.

Series of courses are been organized among Chinese to sensitize more people into domaining business and not as the salt of a thing someone mentioned. Chinese population is high and the more people are getting into the business the more liquid the chips will be. IMHO.

The problem is the people who bought on the spike and got impaled, buying a Chip at $2500-3000 only a few weeks ago. These same people are selling at $1900 because they expected the rise to continue and are now caught short.

These people are not investors, this is primarily how the AIM market in the UK is played as well as the penny stock market in the US. The pumpers created the bubble, suckered in the people with dreams of oriental wealth and pulled the cord leaving them stranded. The bubble is now filled with the impaled and not investors. IMO

I will post here later on the exact problem with China and how it may affect the domain market and what changes they are going through.

Perhaps you should have looked at the NP marketplace before assuming that I am wrong. I have seen Chip domains with BIN at around the $1900 mark all last week. What does that tell you?

I am simply telling newcomers to be cautious however your aggressive and argumentative attitude gives the impression of someone over leveraged...

Congratulations on these names... However this is a different story, you have admitted to buying these at REG FEE I would like to see how confident you would be if you spent 2000-3000 EACH. You have effectively proven your ignorance to my question

By buying these at REG FEE you have ZERO RISK. You do not understand the meaning of risk/reward for people who have spent xxxx on Chips etc.
