Hello, i am thinking about setting up a local registrar for my area and im wanting to know which is the best reseller for .com.au domains. The reseller account must be easy to use and customizeable and has the cheapest prices.

If anyone has any recommendations please post here.

Thanks

Morgan

Moniker i think is the cheapest, around 7$ /year, any co.uk domain must be paid for 2 years.

I use Moniker for all of my co.uk and .de domains...

I use Moniker and Godaddy (last two years).

Moniker is cheaper without coupons codes but I can usually find one on Godaddy that takes it to $13.99 (two years).

The only problem I have had was when Moniker failed to register a basket of .co.uk names- even though they were available to register- and kept my money as a credit to be applied later. Took me some time to get my money back. Registered those same names at Godaddy 5 minutes later. Same think happened a few days later and I now prefer Godaddy.

One possible advantage for Moniker is its link to SnapNames auctions. As of now, co.uk is not included as an allowed submission to Godaddy's premium listing service.

Name.com would be my preferred registrar but they are just too expensive for co.uk, imo.

I use daily.co.uk for all my uk domains...easy to transfer names, no problem so far.

I also noticed namecheap.com has .co.uk for less than 10 $ per year, which is quite cheap. Are they reliable and trustworthy? (I remember they were a reseller for a long while but finally seem to be ICANN accredited)

Cheers for the input exsedo, I've seen gandhi but there does not seem to be a proxy service. Does anyone else have any advice?

Now you can register .SG domains with Chinese characters

SGNIC has announced that it will be possible shortly to register .SG domains with Chinese characters. See the whole story at .SG domains with Chinese characters

There's a guy on this forum who lives on Reunion, I think his username is yannou974. Maybe you could work something out with him.

Looking to register some ccTLDs (.RU .RO .PL)

Hello guys,

Would like to know where is the cheapest registrar for .RU .RO & .PL?

Do this extensions have restrictions? Are they strict with it? with all the spamming going on with this extensions I dont think they are any strict.

Thanks for your inputs.

For .ro domains go with the registry: rotld.ro
There are no renewal fees at present, but other registrars will charge you for every year ;)

Im english and I have got .co.uk's at Othello (Othellotech.net).

2 year .co.uk is ยฃ6.99 (inc VAT).

Support is excellent and they usually reply in hours. Looks like a rather big thing theyve got going on, they do all sorts of other stuff too, so I cant see them going under.

Theyre also one of the few ICANN acredited UK registrars:

ICANN | ICANN-Accredited Registrars

About privacy: When you reg a .co.uk they give you the option to opt out of the whois info (but only for non-commercial), thats free too.

You have to becareful with Name.com and .co.uk's (as much as I like Name, got .coms there), because reg is $25 (ยฃ14ish), but transfer is $50 (ยฃ30!).

Never heard of Othello but will check them. You'd say they are an established company? As in: have been going for a while and very likely to stay around?

Indeed, opting out of the WHOIS is free for all non-commercial .co.uk registrations, one of the reasons to love the extention. Nominet does a great job in their business IMO, on top of that .co.uk ranks amongst the best ccTLDs around. I think only .de and .cn have more registrations than .co.uk when it comes to country-code extentions. :hearts: .uk

reliable registrar for Israeli domains

I believe I started a topic on this long time ago , too long ago to still be accurate for now. So I revived my interest in getting a .co.il domain, but still the sites where I usually check first either don't offer the ccTLD or have quite high prices (up to approx 100โ‚ฌ per year D-:)

I checked the old topic on .co.il here and one of the registrars recommended there seems to not exist anymore (or the site appeared to be down, I couldn't reach it) plus I'm wondering if more reliable registrars (= know to deliver good service and support for affordable price, unlikely to go out of business soon) meanwhile accepted .co.il amongst the extentions they offer.

So which for now is a good place to get Israeli domains?

You could overthrow the Government and form a republic

Reunion is a french territory, good luck with overthrowing the government. :)

French people themselves (beside of course the people of Reunion) can not register .re domains which is btw ridiculous, so good luck registering one without paying $250.
