Hello, i am thinking about setting up a local registrar for my area and im wanting to know which is the best reseller for .com.au domains. The reseller account must be easy to use and customizeable and has the cheapest prices.

If anyone has any recommendations please post here.

Thanks

Morgan

now really? thanks for the info, sdsinc.

I'm considering alldomainregistrar.com for this. dragonADR or Marc has been very helpful with my first .fr registration. Great customer service. :)

DragonADR, is there any chance of picking up com.pt? You have a lot of other TLDs listed, but not this one. I am looking to transfer my com.pt domains away from EuroDNS.

Sorry for the delay, but yes, we can offer .com.pt those will be added to the list during today. The price will be 58.50EUR per year.

Thanks DragonADR. Unfortunately, I am looking for a better price. Currently, I am paying 48 Euro at EuroDNS. Though I am not totally happy with the service, the 10 Euro ($15) price difference is a lot. Thanks again for taking the time to look into this for me. Best regards. :)

Let's talk about Quantity, I certainly can do something, just tell me how many Domains you would like to transfer.

Unfortunately, I am not a large domain holder in this TLD. I only have four of these type of domains. I picked them up in an auction. The domains I wanted were DE and these were just thrown in as a bonus. Because they are have nice keywords (free, host, single and work), I find it difficult to just let them drop.

Where can I find decent, fair priced registrar for .IS domains?

Thank you, but I can see that you/they offer it on the website. .is is not present in the extensions.

No such thing as .net.uk as far as I´m aware (and I used to live in the UK for two years ...). .co.uk is king, although you can register .org.uk (relatively common) and .me.uk (quite uncommon) as well. Other .uk related extentions (.gov.uk, .ac.uk, etc) are open only to certain companies or institutions.

Even if .net.uk were open to registrations, it wouldn´t catch on very well because .co.uk is so popular within the country that people would simply find .net.uk alienating. They are used to .co.uk and to lesser extent .org.uk, not to .net.uk

But anyways, as far as I´m aware, you can only register .co.uk, .org.uk or .me.uk -- no restrictions on neither of these.

How to legaly register .RE

Can anyone recommend how I can register .re domains cheaply while staying with-in their requirements.
I believe there is 1 company (International Domain Registration - International Trademark Registration ) which will provide proxy registration however they are extremely expensive (250$ per year per domain) Especially when compared to the likes of gandi who offer registration but no proxy for under $10.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

You could overthrow the Government and form a republic

Seriously tho,
I looked at registering some at Gandi last year and the rules stated that you have to reside in a republic. So I decided it wasn't worth the bother of finding a workaround.

Best place to register .co.uk domains for now?

Can anyone suggest which is the best registrar for .co.uk domains when wanting the registrar to meet below criteria:
- reliable and rapid support
- secure against domain theft (https: is a minimum, other security features a nice bonus)
- stable/extremely unlikely to go out of business in the near or distant future
- not too expensive (although I'm also not asking the very cheapest -- quality comes first)
- free MX Records or A Records, or at least option to create unlimited subdomains to use with URL forwarding for free

Not a "must" but a nice extra would be:
- Private WHOIS
- webmail included

Thanks for any suggestions B-)
