Started a series called Brandable Daily Sales Analysis and would like to share some useful discoveries.
Lets now dive in.

First would be Fitalytics (dot) com

Note the following.

Registration Date: 2010-06-02

Month of Sale: 2016-05

Domain Length: 10 Characters

Domain History:

As you can see the current nameserver from the image suggests that the domain was recently added to brandbucket marketplace. Also that the domain was first registered back in 2008 although the current registration date is 2010-06-02 We can also see that it’s very likely that the domain has changed hands prior its sale on brandbucket.

Other Extensions : 1 other extensions has been taken

Google Popularity: On Google first page results it has 9 similar mentions excluding where domain is brandbucket. The most interesting part is that the name “Fitalytic” was mentioned on CrunchBase. We can conclude that it’s Google Popularity is strong.

Social Handles: It’sTwitter has been taking since 2012. The Facebook handle has also been taken.

Dictionary Keywords: Fit, and Italy.

Brandbucket Sold Keyword: Aly Example of sold domain that contain such keyword dailydealy.com .

Other Keywords: Taly, Alytic, Aly

Pitch/Launch is a great name, ideally suited to BB imo.

Very strange what they accept these days, but this is what happens when it is decided by a single reviwer rather than a crowd based review.

I think the latter should be brought in, to show that they value us sellers and the money we are spending on names to publish with them.

I submitted a few names to test the waters.

Ecoriginal.com was one that got rejected. I know it's 4 syllables but they have Ecorific.com published at 4.5k which is also 4.

UberJuice.com was another, but they have names like GridJuice.com published with GoodJuice.com published at nearly 8k.

6L made up 52% of invented sales vs 16% for 5L. That was surprising IMO.

There are 8,200 6Ls and 6,800 5Ls. The categories are pretty close in amounts but hugely different in sales. I think it has to do with the quality of 5Ls being accepted. BB has a lot of 5Ls that are there just because they are pronounceable and not because they are very good. When a buyer comes looking for a short name the 4L category is almost completely eliminated because of the high price tags. 5Ls get eliminated pretty fast because they are not very good. That leaves the last category that you can check by length which is 6L. Much easier to find a really good looking and sounding 6L and I think that is why the sales percentage of this category is higher. We also have to remember that not all 6Ls are completely invented names. Many keyword + suffix ending Ly, Sy, Io, Zo etc....land in the 6L category which throws these numbers off unless you go in and really analyze what sold.

im not too sure about it all to be honest but i have seen a "Trend" in several statements. Several times i have seen people say they submit names to BB and they get rejected. Then they follow with BB has 4 names almost just like mine.
Does it not seem logical to refuse a name if you have 4 almost just like it that aren't selling yet? Granted that most are starting to look the same anyway.. It almost hurts to look through more than a couple pages...

I have some 2 words brandables accepted lately, like micromoda, oksector or heytechnology but also a lot of rejected, like geekterra, oklemon or techguerrilla. They are making a lot of mistakes reviewing, for example, I had 'doklo' rejected, but I had one xxx offer and one unsuccesful sale at flippa because the buyer was banned and could not pay and 4 more watchers in couple of months.

I've had a lot of good names rejected recently also. Maybe they are finally trying to slow down the growth of names.

That could.be the reason. Another thing I noted ia that if you have like 10 names queued for publishing then they publish each name almost a week later. This will mean they have some sort of plan in place not to overwhelm buyers with many new names .

I like micromoda more. Ok sector is at 2395, heytechnology at 1995 and micromoda 1795.

You can see from the price the potential they see in each name and certainly like I said it is not as pure as the rest so that is why it has the lowest price

I believe what sella more these days are the two word names though 6Ls have had great success this past month according to bb's newsletter.

I dont have to many 6 letters, some 5 letters, some 2 words and a lot of double letters, like defensse, factorry, networrk or tonicc.

I have had better results submitting one to three names and even therr was bo waiting time at all. So maybe that is. Tech/trapper I submitted this morning and less than 8 hours it is accepted.

I think they have some criteria where they filter the better patterned names like CVCCV and others like tech domains,have noticed little waiting time on those

I submitted GrandLabs.com and that got accepted within a day, it does look like they have a filtering system for certain types of names.

In July I have submitted them 108 names at once and got accepted 77 out of it. For me it doesn't necessary means lower acceptance rate if I send them names in bulk.
