Started a series called Brandable Daily Sales Analysis and would like to share some useful discoveries.
Lets now dive in.

First would be Fitalytics (dot) com

Note the following.

Registration Date: 2010-06-02

Month of Sale: 2016-05

Domain Length: 10 Characters

Domain History:

As you can see the current nameserver from the image suggests that the domain was recently added to brandbucket marketplace. Also that the domain was first registered back in 2008 although the current registration date is 2010-06-02 We can also see that it’s very likely that the domain has changed hands prior its sale on brandbucket.

Other Extensions : 1 other extensions has been taken

Google Popularity: On Google first page results it has 9 similar mentions excluding where domain is brandbucket. The most interesting part is that the name “Fitalytic” was mentioned on CrunchBase. We can conclude that it’s Google Popularity is strong.

Social Handles: It’sTwitter has been taking since 2012. The Facebook handle has also been taken.

Dictionary Keywords: Fit, and Italy.

Brandbucket Sold Keyword: Aly Example of sold domain that contain such keyword dailydealy.com .

Other Keywords: Taly, Alytic, Aly

Similar End User Domain currently in use: talytics.com This simply suggests some trends from the word Alytic.

IMHO:

NaturalFootwear.com - Too specific. BB seems like a name to be more general or VERY strong for a single niche.

Footwear is one of the strongest niches out there, with several multi-billion dollar brick and mortar stores focused on this and at least one multi-billion dollar online store with this focus. Also, the need for footwear will never go away, so it's got a strong future. "Natural" is probably the best adjective there is for English speaking countries, since it has no specific meaning but is EXTREMELY desirable.

IMHO:
SurfDuds.com - Not sure who you are targeting.

"Duds" is a common slang for clothing, especially in the more mature surfing community, and it this domain it's paired with the ultimate adjective, "Surf". Surfing inspired clothing is a multi-billion dollar niche of the clothing industry, very popular both online and offline. Surfing continues to gain popularity and has a bright future.

IMHO:NourishFit.com - The words do not work well together, nor or they strong selling keywords.

Fitness is a MASSIVE business both online and off, so I'm not sure what your definition of "strong" is, but there are literally thousands of companies doing billions of business, and it keeps getting better. A big chunk of that money is nutrition, aka Nourishment, is diet and fitness go hand-in-hand according to EVERY SINGLE SOURCE. I suggest you don't go to your local gym and tell a bodybuilder that nourshment and fitness "do not work well together"!

The #1 problem in the fitness industry is complaints of lack of energy, often related to low calorie diets. Again, billions of dollars of products are sold with the premise of giving energy while keeping you fit. So here we have a 6 letter .com, with an ideal keyword in a multi-billion dollar industry... so again I question your definition of "strong".

Full disclosure: I am not a BB reviewer. This is just my opinion as a BB seller, which is based upon my understanding of my own rejections.

I think that you are right in most of what you are saying, the idea is that BB is very pragmatic and if I would be the owner I would do the same...is very hard to cover all the niches, so BB is targeting mostly the tech niches around Silicon Valley and everything closely related. So you could have a very strong keyword, but if they know there are slim chances to find you a buyer they will pas it and replace it with one less strong, but for which they could find a buyer faster. So if they reject it, doesn't mean necessary that it's not good, just that they know what customer database they have and they think that they will struggle to find a buyer...for example, I have 'motorkite' rejected by BB, but accepted at 6k at another marketplace, so sport related domains are very hard to get accepted here.

It looks like medsmarty(.)com just broke the record of being the fastest flip so far seen on brandbucket reg on 2016-07-23 published on BB around 2016-08-09 and now sold.

To say that this is a very suspicious sale is an understatement. It violates all of BB's rules for selection and has none of the usual details of a legitimate sale.

At first glance its nothing great but if it got accepted and sold in record time then we're missing something.

It was a domain once dropped around 2012. And there is a rise in health related startups.

I gather you're new in this business. Fake sales are an old tradition. Read some of the back issues of DNJournal to see some of the bigger ones. It got so bad that the editor had to start verifying every sale before reporting.

Show me the business names sold at high prices with the "smarty" suffix.

Suffix specific is a little bit too narrowed considering the limited data available.. That is why I consider based from various angles and determine the average weight. Another domain brandbucket rejected from me is even in the process of sale for $3.5K

Must admit, bit of a head scratcher that name. Only thing I can see it as is that 'smarty' is like a token or ready made solution, where you have easy access to your 'smarty'.

We will always be surprised by the names startups use, check out startupranking and you will also see some weird and wonderful names.

I just looked up the person listed as the new owner of the domain in question. He does not work in the medical industry and never has. Many years ago he did some SEO work, so he's not a clueless buyer. The domain address is a residence. None of this adds up.

My suspicions about this sale just tripled.
