I'm glad you have positives to say about your own experience.Doing the same thing right now, sipping my drink and reading this foolish comment, you got no idea what you are talking about.
I have businesses on new gTLDs and I am doing perfectly fine. Even customers reaching from countries that I never heard of before.
This is too silly! There are billion dollar companies on new gTLDs online right now.
This is hilarious.

z.cash does just fine as I'm sure many others do.
Who are the billion $ companies?
Led.Lighting - used by PHILIPS ( billion dollar company )
abc.xyz - Google (I personally do not like this extension, but hey Google owns it)
tron.network - another cryptocurrency with a couple of billion dollar market cap... and there are many more with other crypto projects..
That's awesome!I am loving them
Cheers
Corey
I think it is not cool to make this thing personal.. We are all domain investors, we might have different preferences on domain names but it doesn't give us the right to judge people and discredit them publicly without even knowing them. This is a forum for domain speculation and investing. You have gurus like @lolwarrior with 0 credibility as preachers to an ignorant out of tune choir.
Credibility in domaining starts with being profitable and grows when you have notable accomplishments like 5 and 6 figure sales.I think it is not cool to make this thing personal.. But many are so desperate that someone with 0 credibility earns it from telling them their ngtlds can sell for thousands someday. Sad.
I see, so it's a bit like a cult or religion then.I am pretty sure you know the fact that there are both 5 figure and 6 figure sales with new gTLDs.
Why 0 credibility? Cause he didn't made those sales but he is telling the fact that it is possible..
Come on, you don't have to like new gTLDs. but don't discredit people just because of that.
Yes, just like the ".com only" cult. And you are being a bit of racist and fascist about itI see, so it's a bit like a cult or religion then.

Alrighty then.
Proud to say I have never owned a ngltd.

It's not a phobia, it's just bad business. The best new g's are not assets as far as I'm concerned, they are liabilities. Even the tiny % that are liquid move on the 'greater fool theory'. Domain aftermarket is tiny as is, sales to end users and among investors. New GTLDs are merely a footnote of a tiny market.Lol, or better yet you got the "new G phobia" ?

Sure, so the viability of speculating and warehousing ngtlds for anticipation of future profit is a different discussion to which businesses and sites are out there with a ngtld flag.I don't really get you. If they are doing fine and you are sure many others doing just fine too, than so what?
What is the purpose of the domain names?
Selling .com domains at $100 and calling them quality and liquid domains, so newbies can buy from you? Well that is bad business not investing in great new gTLD combos.

I will pass on that you can never hand reg. a great .com domain today, only place to look for them is aftermarket and you are fool if you think you can buy a great .com domain just for $100 budget. But if you are selling it, that's another story ?
