When I check DNS records for any domain parked at Bodis - I see these abnormal MX records:
MX 0 mx76.mb1p.com.
MX 10 mx76.m2bp.com.
What purpose for them???
I don't need any email monetization... where revenue is very low but very high risk to be blocked by registrar/registry.

Hello Jurgen,
These records are not being used to send out/respond to incoming emails, so you shouldn't experience any elevated risk of having your domains blocked.

Unfortunately, this is not true...
I have rechecked those MX records... using network-tools.com Email Test tool (from the dropdown list)...
They work... and receive incoming emails in catch-all mode...
Please remove these abnormal MX records completely from your DNS template for parked domains.

p.s. At ParkingCrew - email monetization can be easily switched ON/OFF in their UI.

Randomly found today that one of my domains is listed in Spamhaus DBL...
It was registered in June and parked at Bodis...
Traffic: few visitors monthly (according to Bodis stats).

Just removed it from DBL myself using their instructions at https://www.spamhaus.org/lookup/

Was this domain name previously registered and then dropped? If so, this domain is likely to have been added to the Spamhaus Block List prior to June.

Yes, it was dropped.
But Spamhaus DBL is a dynamic blacklist... it is updating continuously...
And the domain was added into their DBL just recently...
I have detected it in my Namecheap panel today... ALERT flag was set on it...
Last such check I did ~2 weeks ago - were no problems.

+ recheck ALL YOUR IP addresses against Spamhaus blacklists.
Was it caused by mb1p/m2bp MX records? If so, did you find what exactly happened and how? It would be very interesting to understand this.

Regarding MX records...
They are NOT needed for parked domains in any case apriori! And MUST BE REMOVED!
Only email monetization/catch-all - requires to have MX records.
It is recommended even to add into DNS template:
example.com. IN TXT "v=spf1 -all"

MX records in question are of mailboxpark.com service. So Bodis must be their customer. As per mailboxpark faq:

These explanations are short. For me, it is still unclear where exactly the $$$ are in this model, who is ultimate customer - what he is paying for, and how much.

By the way, "v=spf1 -all" TXT record does not conflict with MX records. It simply shows that domain owner elected to receive emails, but never sends outgoing emails. Which means that Bodis can safely add this TXT record to all parked domains, right now. Regardless of a desired option to optout from email monetization which was mentioned earlier in this thread.

IP addresses of A/NS/MX records and even whole domains can be blacklisted by Spamhaus.
Then registries block those domains... the most popular scenario.

I have emailed to one of my parked domains... Was sent successfully, no bounce. Also no reply.
Looks that they catch all emails and collect all data...

-Do you have "high quality ads" only enabled on your domains?
-Can you please message me the domain name that this occured on?
