Please add the possibilty to not display the domain name on the parked page at all...
This feature is available with ParkingCrew a few years already...

@Jurgen Wolf

We support it for an entire account currently however it's not available from the UI. If you'd like can put you in touch directly with Troy @ our Support and he can make the change. It would be an account-wide setting though.

I have deleted one of my domains from my primary Bodis account and then added it into my ZeroClick account...
The domain settings were abnormally inherited (Tier2: OFF, Master keyword etc.) - 100% BUG.

•••
And 2nd detected BUG: it is impossible to reset/remove the Master keyword.
When I save this field as empty - the previous keyword remains even after few days, nothing happens - in other words.

@Jurgen Wolf

Right, the keyword settings on our system are global on per-domain level (not dependent on user account). Reason could be that an admin can be adjusting/improving keywords on the account as well. We wouldn't want to lose all that work when a domain is deleted or move from one account to another.

However, that is going to change entirely likely Q3 or Q4 of this year at latest. We've had a lot of internal discussions regarding this and requires a large database design change / application change on how we handle domain-user associations.

That should certainly not be the case, we'll look into it!

Unfortunately, not just keyword is inherited...
All other settings as well... like Tier2:OFF is inherited when adding the domain into account where default Tier2 is set to ON.

@Jurgen Wolf

Correct that too. Since our system could optimize between tier1/tier2.

We'll look into it however. It will be addressed for certain in one of our future major releases. But we'll see if we can address some of these issues earlier. Thanks for the notice.

Do you plan to add the Deleted folder?
It exists on PC and Sedo since the beginning... and it is very easy to review the deleted domains (archive).

@Jurgen Wolf

100% yes. That is part of that major release later inthe year I mentioned in previous post. Delete folders and retaining settings on deleted domains.

When I check DNS records for any domain parked at Bodis - I see these abnormal MX records:
MX 0 mx76.mb1p.com.
MX 10 mx76.m2bp.com.

What purpose for them???
I don't need any email monetization... where revenue is very low but very high risk to be blocked by registrar/registry.

Hello Jurgen,

These records are not being used to send out/respond to incoming emails, so you shouldn't experience any elevated risk of having your domains blocked.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, this is not true...
I have rechecked those MX records... using network-tools.com Email Test tool (from the dropdown list)...
They work... and receive incoming emails in catch-all mode...

Please remove these abnormal MX records completely from your DNS template for parked domains.

Just submit any example@ParkedDomain and you will see...
It works.

p.s. At ParkingCrew - email monetization can be easily switched ON/OFF in their UI.
+ recently their representative said that they stopped to use this kind of monetization at all.

Randomly found today that one of my domains is listed in Spamhaus DBL...
It was registered in June and parked at Bodis...
Traffic: few visitors monthly (according to Bodis stats).

Hello Jurgen,

Was this domain name previously registered and then dropped? If so, this domain is likely to have been added to the Spamhaus Block List prior to June.

Thanks.

Yes, it was dropped.
But Spamhaus DBL is a dynamic blacklist... it is updating continuously...

And the domain was added into their DBL just recently...
I have detected it in my Namecheap panel today... ALERT flag was set on it...
Last such check I did ~2 weeks ago - were no problems.

So I want to repeat my request again...
Please completely remove all these abnormal and very risky MX records.

+ recheck ALL YOUR IP addresses against Spamhaus blacklists.

Few hours ago this domain was blocked by Afilias (serverHold was set).
So now I'm trying to unblock it via Namecheap Abuse team...
serverHold removal usually takes ~1 week (from my previous experience).

Was it caused by mb1p/m2bp MX records? If so, did you find what exactly happened and how? It would be very interesting to understand this.

Afilias reply to Namecheap is traditional: spam activity.

Regarding MX records...
They are NOT needed for parked domains in any case apriori! And MUST BE REMOVED!
Only email monetization/catch-all - requires to have MX records.

It is recommended even to add into DNS template:
example.com. IN TXT "v=spf1 -all"
