Investigating now.

How about showing the pic based on traffic region? For example a Chinese girl for South-East Asia and Indian girl for India. This way you could still keep these new templates and just switch the pic alone.

GREAT IDEA. I've heard it before but this time it really does make a lot of sense especially since the templates are here to stay.

The only place where it doesn't make sense is the red template on adult names. For instances cuteasians.com adult name might benefit with an Asian girl picture even though the visitor is from the US.

However, since our adult templates are used mostly anyways then this wouldn't make much impact.

I'll get to work on region specific pictures! Hopefully will have something by end of the day.

Looks like yesterday there was an improvement in earnings.
But today the same things as before.


How could it be ?
Almost two times less than yesterday for the same time.

Why don't you turn OFF your filters and don't block real traffic/clicks ?

Such as yourself visiting would not count as a visitor.

Regardless of how many visitors or clicks we report, the revenue remains unchanged.

actually it is just the opposite - nov 28 is cyper monday - the most important shopping day on the internet for the whole year - it is like black friday 3 days before - it is also huge .

in fact over the past 10 years of parking i noticed ( at least with my domains ) that november is the highest traffic month and the highest revenue month ( largely because of pre christmas shopping ).

however every domain account is different and if you don't have a lot of product / shopping names , there may not be an increase ,but a decrease .

Hmm interesting. I guess we will find out in the next few days to see how it does.

It trends up from here because of the holidays shopping spree all the way until New Year 2012, however, there are days I know for certain drop in traffic.

Two of these days are December 24th and December 25th.

I looked at Thanksgiving stats for past 2 years, and indeed there was no drop at that time. We will see!

I'd like to take a second and get a little off topic. We just launched our new user/custom DNS. This means our system can determine what user the domain belongs to just by looking at the DNS settings.

What does this mean?

• You no longer have to add domains to your account, our system takes care of it automatically.
• There are no more issues with domain conflicts.

Everyone should be receiving emails with details as we speak.

Simply instead of using:

NS1.BODIS.COM
NS2.BODIS.COM

You would point to:

NS1.{USERID}.BODIS.COM
NS2.{USERID}.BODIS.COM

And you'd replace {USERID} with your actual user ID found in the email we just dispatched.

We also took it a step further and let you create custom name servers such as: NS1.somecustomname.BODIS.COM so that you remember it. You can have upto 100 per account. (For now this can be done by contacting support, starting December 2nd it'll be available in the user interface)

I hope everyone likes this new innovation which is only available at Bodis...at least for the time being. :D

Excellent move. I am annoyed with many domains which i bought and tried to park. It shows "domain exist in another user account." Even after my reminders many sellers don't remove the names from their parking account.

Not sure I understand the first question, please elaborate.

As far domains currently with Bodis, you can safely change from NS1/NS2.BODIS.COM to the user-based DNS setting. It will have no difference in keywords, etc. All of that is a completely separate layer, independent of the DNS settings! :tu:

Yes. There is a gigantically huge innovation on getting more revenue from domains, but it will be released in time for Domainfest 2012 (February 2012).

the new DNS system is fantastic - this is clearly the best new improvement in the whole parking industry for many years !

it really made me angry every time i added a newly bought domain to the system and some leech added it to his/hers evenso they never owned it as the domain was used for 10 years as a website and never was parked ( which you can see on the wayback machine ) but every sinlge time i bought a domain at namejet ,that leech already added it to bodis system hoping to make a few bucks until the domain is moved to the right owner .

( the same thing is going on with parked for a long time )

anyway this new inovation of yours will but a stop to this.
