Ive been using the bido domain market now for some time. I am very happy with the ease of sales and the prices ive received. Anyone else have any good experiences with bido. Its also a great place to buy good domains at great prices.

I think that Bido is dead, no serious bids there

I had a look yesterday, it's an always an endless stream of mediocre domains.
I don't think it's very much alive.

Have to disagree. Bido is not bad. There quite many good domain names there, regularly, for decent prices. Good place to buy. Make also work as a place to liquidate domain names, if you are in hurry.

They closed but resurfaced. Their interface is easy to use.

I have no sales there yet.

Bido and Namepros are owned by the same group if some of you don't know.

When did that happen? I thought it was just the Bodis/Namepros connection.

I had some mediocure and low value names that i have sold on BIDO recently for far more than i ever though id get for them. Got at least 3 times what id receive on ebay. Im a fan of BIDO, though i was not familiar with their old platform, i like their new marketplace. It is easy to use and ive talked to the mods quite a bit about what they are doing to improve their cash parking and other features. They are very informative and easy to deal with. I believe BIDO just needs more people selling and buying, i can see with their new platform it will become a great marketplace. The domain NIPPLES.ME recently sold on BIDO for $1250.

I would be most interested to know how or where you found this out....Maybe I'm in the dark but was unaware of any connection beyond Bodis owning Namepros.com etc... how does bido.com fit into the equation and what "group"?

Bido/sedo are taking fees and making money but not selling any domain there!..he..he....If you have good domain then do try with them but auction will be unsold...he...he...think Flippa only market place to sale domain or website/blog, if you have good domain just list with them and get 50%-80% market price...Good luck..

Bido is much better for the buyer than the seller. You can sometimes get good deals there since there is not a great deal of competition.

I also didnt know that Bido was owned by the Namepros people, when did that happen?

Since bido changed ownership it has a new platform which seems to be so far successful imo. I had many domain names that i registered when i first started out, i refer to these as garbage names. I was going to sell them here in the auctions forum at $1 start. I listed them on bido and got far more than i believe i would have gotten on a forum.

I also agree with DEFLECTED, there are lots of very valuable domain names at great prices. I noticed lately a large number of sales of the .me extension on bido. The highest sale was nipples.me, sold for $1,250. Currently there are some great names especially in the me extension at great prices. Im so far a big fan of bido.
