domain betbuzzer.com - been offered $500, fair?

I've been offered $500 for betbuzzer.com from what seems to be a casino/sportsbetting company.

I don't know if this is relevant or not, but I haven't posted this domain for sale anywhere, I just received an email from the company out of the blue.

Anyhow, is it a fair price?

Eventhough it is archived, it looks like it was never developed. It is a catchy name that lends itself to casino, gambling. If you were to find out the ,"company" has deep pockets, perhaps I'd hold out for more. If I were in your place I would take it though.

Thank you Sirengirl for your opinion. You're right that I never did anything with the domain, bought it 4 years ago and had almost forgot about it...

You need to find out more about the company, then make your decision, if they are ready to offer that much out of the blue they may pay more. I see you have had it since 2002, first off you could start by telling them you have been holding on to this name for almost 4 1/2 years and try to push the price up. Problem is its not parked so you can't really claim its worth more than $500 because of stats or anyhthing. If you need the money just do it. If you have extra money ask for $1000 since you have been holding on to it. just watch out for scams, if you agree and then they want an appraisal, it is a scam!
