Anybody transferred .be domain?

Hi friends,

I sold a .be and so I need little guide from someone who have transferred out from godaddy successfully.
After initiating the transfer, I was expecting an email from godaddy with the confirmation link but I didn't get any, instead godaddy support seem to not know anything about confirmation email after I contacted them 3 times.

I checked the domain from my godaddy dash board but transfer hasn't started yet one godaddy support says it has.

Anybody done .be here?

You need an auth code. To retrieve it, you can go to dns.be, do a whois query against your domain. Scroll down and click where it says 'Request transfercode'. The code will be sent to the registrant E-mail address on record. Then you give the code to the buyer, and he/she will initiate transfer from their registrar.

Thanks I already retrieved the auth code from godaddy and transfer initiated.
But after initiating the transfer, I got a message from the receiving registrar that I need to confirm the transfer from godaddy (I was thinking godaddy is supposed to send an email with a confirmation link to the registrant after transfer is initiated?)

It is the buyer who has to initiate transfer, not you. You just hand over the code and they start the transfer from the registrar of their choice.

PS: US registrars are pretty bad for ccTLDs. They just don't handle them well. Maybe it would be a good idea to fetch the auth code from the registry, I am even wondering if GD has not supplied you with bogus code that won't be of any use.
