Any Indians using SnapNames? RBI/tokenization issue - cards getting declined

Hey guys,

Trying to create a SnapNames account from India but running into card issues.

Every time I add a card, I get this error:
"The transaction for the credit card was declined. Please re-enter your credit card details."

I’ve already:

• Tried multiple credit & debit cards
• Enabled international transactions
• Contacted my bank about pre-authorization
• Reached out to SnapNames support

Their reply mentioned that due to RBI regulations (tokenization rules from Oct 2021), Indian cards often don’t work with their system since they don’t support network tokenization. They suggested asking the bank for pre-approval or using a non-Indian card.

So just wanted to check:

Any Indian users here successfully using SnapNames?

• Which bank/card worked for you?
• Did pre-approval from bank actually help?
• Any workaround besides using a foreign card?

Would appreciate any real experiences here.
