Another Invalid WHOIS Question

The question I'm asking is not invalid, but the WHOIS info is. So there's a domain I want, e-mailed the contact, bounced back, called him, invalid #. It's just sitting, parked (with the registrar, not the owner's parking), and has been auto-renewing for 7 years. I called the registrar to ask if I could get in touch with the guy, and they said the info they had on him matched the whois, so they can't reach him either.

Now I realize nobody has a right to ask for or try to buy someone else's domain. But assuming he moved (once I try snail mail), is there any other option than wait for his credit card to finally expire (it's been 7 years already!)?

It can't be helped that some people believe otherwise.

Only thing I can think of right now is ask the registrar what they'll do to the
domain name if it's suspended for invalid WHOIS and if the registrant and/or
contacts don't reply after a couple of weeks. Ideally they'll delete it, but in
reality anything goes.

And lest some of you bash me for this, a knife is both a handy kitchen utensil
and a weapon, depending how you intend to use it that time.
