How can I obtain a domain that has invalid WHOIS

I wanted to buy this domain and the current owner of this domain has a invalid whois. I have already reported the invalid whois to moniker.com and ICANN, how long will I have to wait for the domain to drop? Thanks

What make you think that just because current owner has invalid WHOIS data you are somehow entitled to claim / buy the name?? Drop Catching Sites will most likely grab the name if it has an value .

There is little chance of it dropping anytime soon. I think you will have to wait until it expires at least, and then bid for it as a Pre-Release auction at SnapNames. This is only likely, if ICANN/Moniker have taken any notice of your complaint. Which is not very likely. The most likely scenario is they have ignored your complaint and the current owner will renew it at renewal time.

Just like myself and any other registration provider out there, our business is having satisfied paying customers. Even if the whois data is inaccurate, the registration provider will still attempt to contact the customer before taking such drastic action of dropping a domain. A more appropriate action would most likely be a friendly email or phone call to the customer informing them of the inaccuracies and giving them a chance to correct it. In the event that it is not corrected, a possible suspension on the domain may even be a reasonable course of action until the situation is rectified. It is our job to maintain satisfied customers and not to drive them away by dropping domains without warning. The registrar will know how to get in touch with the customer. They provided accurate contact information during the payment process .
