Wanted to make an official announcement that we have brought back the High Priced Domains section to Namepros.

For those that don't remember, High Priced Domains is a section where users can list domains that are worth $1,000 and up (reseller pricing). We focus on premium domains.

The threads are automatically placed in moderation where multiple moderators review and either approve/disapprove. If the moderators agree that the domain is worth $1,000 and up, the thread would be approved and visible to the rest of the community. If disapproved, you are welcome to post it in the standard Fixed Price/Make Offer sections.

We want to attract more serious domainers to Namepros and help weed out the lower value names for those domainers that are only interested in premium gems.

I know I look at this forum section a few times per day waiting for the right gem to show up so I can snap it up. :D The section was just revived, so I and many others are looking forward to more listings and more activity soon.

Feel free to post your domain(s) that you think are worth $1,000+.

Here is the link. :tu:

@Matt how does the review process work for the mods? Do they have a certain guideline they got to follow?

@rathead - I hope that's a joke. For that amount, I can get so many 1 word domains in that niche.

Hey Matt, do the domains have to actually be priced, or can we just list them as open/make offer (with the presumption that offers would start at $1,000 and up.) thanks

Can be open offer, however we ask that the reseller value start at $1,000. I might have to rename the forum to make that clear! :)

Just submitted one for review, looking forward to this as it will be my first time having a domain in this section! Also looking forward to buying some great names! %%-

How long does the review take? I submitted a domain and it has been more than 24 hours. I see that thread has been posted but it says Invalid Thread specified.: Thread Link

We didn't approve it into the High Priced section. Soon you'll get a notification if you get disapproved there.

Thanks for at least trying.

The names there have to really be premium otherwise the High Priced section would just become another Fixed Price forum.

Just my opinion but I think it would look much better if deleted threads won't be visible (like it was in the old High Price Section).
Again just my opinion :)

I believe there is an option that Admins & or Techs can set a section or forum to show or hide deleted threads / reasons. Naturally for transparency reasons & by huge demand from members we are working on making more section deleted reasons visible. I do agree with you though that High Priced may be an exception to that and there's plans in the works (As matt pointed out) to have notices sent to members that were declined, so they no longer need the visible deletion reason.

Thanks for the reply.

As for all that transparency my general opinion. That visible deleted threads looks ugly. Maybe it would be better just to send to these members whos threads were deleted a notification that thread was deleted - and that's all?
IMO it's not important to other people to know why exactly the thread was deleted.

Look below - dunno why but I have association with a drunk Hairdresser work :)
