Diluting the value of High-Priced Names?

Not picking on these names in particular but are there too many low-value names in the High-Priced Names section?

If these are worth $1000, maybe increase the minimum value?

I'm the moderator of the section. I don't think I approved ALL of those personally, but those are definitely domains with a suitable buyer which would sell for $1k plus. Have a look at the stats at http://www.namebio.com to see what kinds of domains are actually selling for $1k and up or what has been accepted at the Roundtable auction with $1k+ reserves.

FWIW, fewer than 1 in 3 domains submitted actually get approved. Approvals are based on current market conditions. What gets approved today might not have been approved last year and may not be approved in 6 months from now.

domainspade owns Namebio.

Back to the main topic of this thread, :imho: Goobah.com and newtitans.com shouldn't be in the High Priced ($1000+) section. They are still available in all the other TLDs. Both of them have little Google results and OVT. Netherlands.tv isn't bad though. :imho:

Yes, although it's not plural. Netherland.tv is disarticulated without the "s".

Maybe its worth approaching things from the other angle and lifting the minimum value of names. $1000 doesn't go nearly as far as it used to.

AfricanTribes.info etc. may get $1000 but I wouldn't classify them as High Value Names.
