That's why they call Afternic direct, as they're hobos with no money and hope you'll accept the change in their pocket.

I continue to get these "No Offer" irritants on my negotiation list, and they never turn out to be anything - I hope Afternic finally gets the memo - there is a REASON why these people are calling you - they have NO MONEY.

And worse, they waste a lot of time for Afternic brokers who are trying to hunt these penniless bums down for a real offer (good luck). In terms of my "No Offer" clientele, it's always a long string of Email Sent to Buyer/Buyer Call Logged updates, and at the end of the line, they all look like this:

You got that half-right, as these "I'll just call Afternic direct and use my mad negotiating skillzz to get the domain for $2" bozos usually never leave an offer. Cuz they have no money.

What's the price at 101domain, any added markup? (not counting the fact that they are on the expensive side when it comes to .fi domains)

edit: I checked one .si domain (Agentic, not mine) and apparently there's no markup

It does not appear to work for "any" TLD, but rather solely .fi

I tested a variety of new gTLDs and Afternic did not allow upload. It still did not accept .ing, .you, .now, .fast, .spot, .select etc.
not sure why @Afternic said "any TLD" in the tweet.

and .si and other ”legacy” extensions (accepted by Afternic) that GoDaddy doesn’t sell. I don’t think Afternic added any new ones.

It's amazing to me how much time GD spends cross marketing the kitchen sink - when they could easily generate more revenues if they marketed aftermarket names properly.

Every search I do shows a hyphenated .com next to the search (or worse such as .sucks). That real estate should cross market a similar aftermarket name

And they show hyphenated .com since it is not registered ( available) , if hyphenated registered and listed for sale by any domainer they will not show it as a suggested result anymore !

Recently, when I switched payout methods, they asked for my ID and PayPal statement. Fair, whatever. Now I want to switch back to wire and again they're asking me for ID and bank statement.

Is this the new system? Switching used to be instant and hassle free. Why must you do me like this, afternic?

Domain was sold through leased out in 25th Mart 2026 via FT, but the transfer status is failed. Afternic's agent is still not active and does not respond to my messages about manual transfer. Till no reaction.

Is there an issue with transfers at godaddy, like transfer via afternic completed within 30 mins but system does not say transfer is not complete. Now godaddy transfer outs, you cannot quick release them. Seems like whole transfer system not working properly for notifications.
