One of my friend, Accidentally clicked on adsense ads, from his own PC where he log in to adsense.

What can we do now?

Should we inform google in this regard?

I think Google check your IP address of every click and every login !

It's better to don't Log in to your account . But others may know better !

I think so the link says it all but still if you think he did it accidently then you must contact google support or may be they will ban your friend

Better contact and tell them what happened and the time. Even though they can find out by them selves. Also they don't ban you just for a click which happened accidentally. They monitor you like week or 2 and then send the mail.

I did a couple of accidental clicks when i first started using Google ads on my websites and nothing ever happened. I dont think you have anything to worry about.

Its not always such a good luck with everyone and specially when it comes to adsense you have to be more pesimist :)

You're such a lucky for not being banned in Adsense. I have a friend who has also accidentally clicked his own ads and soon get banned. I think the lesson on this, we must always be aware or conscious not to click the ads.. I'm very thankful that it's not yet happened to me. And I'm hoping that I won't.

AdSense Help Center

"Accidents happen"

"As most of you know, our program policies state that publishers are not permitted to click on their own ads for any reason. For this reason, we've received many emails from publishers letting us know that they've accidentally clicked on their own ads. If you're one of these publishers, we truly appreciate the efforts you've made to monitor your account and keep it in good standing. However, we do understand that an accidental click may occur from time to time, so there's no need to contact us each instance this occurs."

As long as the accidental click is an isolated incident and not something that happens on a regular basis there should be no problem.

I suggest you inform google about this using this form

google.com/adsense/support/bin/request.py

That's exactly it. Google's run by a bunch of computer + math geeks and I'm sure they have a very good understanding of the likelihood of accidentally clicking on your own ads... If it deviates too much from they've determined to be "normal", you've got trouble.

Well, it's been a few years....I actually do click on my ads from google, likely 1-2 times a week. But over a "few" sites, it doesn't seem to make a difference, and have not have a problem.
