I am regularly access my blog for checking content, preview content etc (daily above 50 pages).

My friend suggests that “accessing your own blog with Google adsense ads on your own computer (computer used to reg Google adsense) reduce your adsense earnings (click value).

It is true?

How to stop displaying Google adsense ads on my blog (my computer)?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

No, I dont think it can reduce your earnings at all.

and you cant really stop it unless you find a way of stopping the ads been shown if your using your IP, which can be done I think.

However I dont think there much of a need, 50 pv a day aint much really, however why not just cut down the number of times you visit your blog or use the admin panel to monitor things?

Install firefox, the plugins: ad block plus, noscript and you'll block all adsense ads on all websites ( except google itself )

Its not a big deal. Also its fine to goto your site which has ads. If you don't click on them everything is fine.

You can use plugins for your browser to stop ads to be displayed but I personally will not recommend doing this.

If you visit your own site, then that is 100% fine and your earnings will not decrease.

If you block the ads on your PC, then you may not be able to see if relevant ads are being displayed in your site or not.

It does not reduce earnings or click value, as click value is based on provided ads related to keywords in your content.

you can disable scripts, and block ads by plugins for not only your own blog but all the websites

The only way this would affect your epc would be (in theory) if you were to visit your site SO many times that it noticeably affected the CTR and conversions on your ads, and you "smart priced" your own account.

You'd have to make a LOT visits to do that!

If you're really worried, shut off javascript in your browser (though that might create problems of it's own).
