Im about to land a 1 word generic .com from a user I contacted for low $xxx. The name is true dictionary generic and has been sitting empty since 98. We've settled on a price im hoping for the deal to go through next week. Someone pinch me now...

I hope it works out for you. I sometimes wonder why a person would own a domain name and not be fully aware of the value. Is there any reason this .com might be worth less than other similar one word generics? Or perhaps he had it given to him or is needing money.
