95% of LLLL.com bought out including traffic testing on August 10th as shown on DYYO.com homepage!​

I just thought the fact that 95% of LLLL.com are unavailable today (by DYYO.com stats) is a very significant milestone in the LLLL.com countdown thread and I thought it may interest some people who don't want to sift through posts in the larger thread.

DYYO stats for each month usually come out on the 6th day of the month and so the number of available in July excluding traffic testing should be available soon. I expect it to be close to 6%.

I think it's safe to say VERISIGN received over $2.5 million in the last 12 months in LLLL.com reg fees. That's a lot!

Just to let people know also that there are only 798 LLLL.com domains available to register that do not contain the less favourable letters of q, x, y or z. This means that there are only 0.34% of an available 234,256 combinations available. This number is plummeting very fast and I would be surprised if it's not at zero in a month or so's time as very few are dropping and if they do they are snapped up extremely fast.

I've noticed that too - there has been a noticeable drop in the number of expiring LLLL.coms over the past couple of weeks.

A month sounds a little optimistic but, then again, these things can move rapidly.

Not sure if I agree with your prioritising the letter V over the letter Y. As much as I like the letter V, my gut feeling is to put V in the bottom three letters when buying LLLL.com for acronym potential.

I would probably actually agree with you in that I think y is a better letter with LLLL.com domains than v. Especially in certain cases. However I was just going off what dyyo.com stated as the lesser quality letters. Here are stats for LLLL.com domains that don't have q, v, x, y or z anywhere in them:

Unregistered: 100
Unregistered Percentage: 0.00514%
