I have some domains that werent the sites of others. Can I still use the domains to redirect 301 to some of my sites? Do the domains HAVE to have been earlier linked same sites? Any special rules I should know about such redirects? And more than one 301 redirect to a site is bad or can I have 2?
Google says if one for example has 2 sites and wants to merge them to one, then 301 could work, so I guess they are kind fo open to this. But when is it considered spam?
I also just heard that google looks down on expired domains, so letss ay I have a domain expired 8 years ago or more, I buyit and redirect 301, would that be bad? The one who tol dme this said people will be moving more to auction sites and buy there instead of picking up expired or newly registered.
